Speakers
Julie Clemow, Bayer Medical Scientific Liaison, will discuss safe prescribing of NOACs.
Dr Kate Hellier, Stroke Consultant, GRH, will discuss risk factors, diagnosis, classification and treatment of stroke.
Lauren Gray, speech and language therapist, GRH, will discuss issues with speech and swallowing following a stroke.
An ex patient will give us an insight into what it’s like to be on the receiving end of a stroke and her own personal experiences.
Meeting free for RPS and APTUK members, non members welcome for £10 charge (includes food) payable on arrival.
Free parking after 18:00 in the Lido car park opposite the venue.
