Freedom to Speak Up

The NHS says “Recommended by Sir Robert Francis in his Freedom to Speak Up review, this policy contributes to the need to develop a more open and supportive culture that encourages staff to raise any issues of patient care quality or safety… Organisations will each appoint their own whistleblowing guardian, an independent and impartial source of advice to staff at any stage of raising a concern… We expect all NHS organisations in England to adopt this policy as a minimum standard to help to normalise the raising of concerns for the benefit of all patients.”

Your LPC has agreed that our Partnerships Manager Rebecca Myers will act as the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian for any Gloucestershire contractor on request. We have developed a template contractor agreement form, which will need to be edited to include the Contractor Name for any pharmacy or group that wants to use the LPC Guardian in their SOP.

You will find below a form for you to submit the details we need to personalise the contract.

Contact details for Rebecca Myers can be found on our ‘contact us’ page.
