Sexual Health Training

Anyone requiring accreditation/training should book with Lis Jardine (lis.jardine@gloslpc.co.uk)
Ideally any pharmacist should attend the full day theory session – this is done with other healthcare professionals including school nurses and is very useful for building relationships as well as confidence.
Assessment (which is done using local young people acting out scenarios) is a requirement of the current PGD and is also very useful and confidence building. A pharmacist will only need to attend for 1-2 hours on one of the assessment days.
If any experienced pharmacist requires accreditation under the PGD prior to advertised assessment days, please can they contact me with details of their prior experience and training and the reason why urgent accreditation is required. I have the option of arranging a few “extraordinary” one to one accreditation meetings with Glos Care clinicians during sexual health clinics.
