SCR training Gloucestershire

Access to the Summary Care Record (SCR) has been deployed for Community Pharmacies since the beginning of 2016.

Many pharmacies in the area are currently accessing the SCR to:

·         enhance clinical decision-making and benefit patients

·         improve efficiency within stores and the wider healthcare community

·         deliver enhanced commissioned services

The ability to claim funds for accessing the SCR will only be available until March 2017. To support pharmacies we are running further face-to-face engagement sessions in October and November 2016. This is your last opportunity to attend a session as they will not be delivered after December 2016.

Therefore this is your last chance to gain access to the SCR to benefit your pharmacy and your patients. We would urge you to attend one of these sessions.
